My Training
I earned my master’s in publishing from Portland State University, the only graduate program with an entirely student-run working press.
At PSU’s award-winning Ooligan Press, where “publishing education gets innovative,” I worked to publish two young adult fiction titles and a short story collection while coordinating press operations as the Publisher’s Assistant.
This hands-on experience, combined with my industry research on the latest developments in print and digital publishing through comprehensive courses in book editing, marketing, and design has prepared me to connect authors and readers in an ever-changing world of words.
